With vanilla ice cream on the side, please.

Well I didn't get rave reviews from the frau this morning... the sausages were a bit dry because I did not add any fat. And I couldn't taste the difference between the ones with cheese and without. You would think, with breakfast in bed, she would have been more complimentary. But she was right.

So for a cooking sausage, they were not bad. I will add the leftovers, hopefully, to a Mexican meal tonight and maybe the spices I add will cover up the weaknesses as well the sauce cover up the dryness.

I did make a killer peach pie!

Killer peach cobbler

3C sliced fresh peaches
1/2C honey
3/4C flour
3/4C milk
1/4C honey
2t baking pwd

Mix peaches and honey. Mix next four ingredients. Melt 1 cube of butter in the bottom of an 8x8 pan in a heated 350 degree oven. Pour the batter into the pan, then put the peaches over that.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or till top is brown.
