Hey Nite Man: I stopped smoking about 20 years ago. For some reason, I continued to take the money that I would have spent, and put it aside. My wife stopped about 2 years later, so my money for her cigarettes also was saved. We use the funds for what we deem to be frivolous items. When we travel, I take a couple grand to spend on things that would seem to be a waste of money. It's fun when it's paid for by the good folks at Pall Mall. Before frequent flyer miles, I would use the money for First Class upgrades. I have never been a cigar smoker. I can only pity your interest in putting an object of such shape in your mouth. I don't lose my ass at the track, because I don't bet my ass. As every successful horseplayer will tell you, "I'm about even". Bob Insult Champ
