I have been trying to untangle the discussion. Since I know that I skip posts when coming back to the thread and discover too many, I do not know what he knew, or once knew but had forgotten. Thus, so far I cannot see that you have proven anything but that he made a mistake. I have that problem with the argument with Cummings, too. I have tried to make sense of it, by looking at citations and retracing on my own, and all that I can see are a couple of trivial misstatements that I would be loathe to call lies, because they need not be anything more than mistakes.......
