SRFX SpectraFAX Announces a Partnership to Provide Fax Integration
NAPLES, Fla., June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- SpectraFAX (OTC Bulletin Board: SRFX - news) today announced they have become a partner with Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX - news), through Xerox Business Partner Program (XBP). As a Xerox Business Partner, SpectraFAX will provide a fax integration solution for the Xerox Document Centre. This partnership will enable SpectraFAX to offer the complete line of SpectraFAX Fax Liaison products to organizations that want to streamline their communications including a low-cost solution for current Xerox customers.

Fax Liaison permits users of the Xerox Document Centre to get the benefit of enterprise faxing for the entire organization. It moves all of the faxing resources to the network and allows end users to send and receive faxes from the desktop PC. This eliminates the need for stand-alone fax machines, individual modems and multiple phone lines.

``Our fax solution is an ideal complement for the Xerox Document Centre,'' said Thomas J. Conwell, CEO of SpectraFAX. ``It consolidates all of the faxing resources in one location and allows the centralized management of fax documents for Xerox's customers.''

With Fax Liaison, incoming faxes can be directed to the Document Centre for storage and future retrieval. Documents can be faxed directly from the Document Centre. This streamlines the fax process and increases productivity for the organization.

``The Xerox Business Partner Program will help support our business development and give us an entry into new markets,'' added Conwell. ``Xerox has a reputation for providing superior and innovative products. We look forward to working with their team to take advantage of new opportunities.''

WWAT yes, noticed that it's the only BB presenting at the Alternative Energy Conference.

I didn't buy it yet, got too carried away with others. But it's on the watch list.

LOL and I am surprised, given the symbol WWAT that no one was doing the old WWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT in LIVE today.

5th Annual
Alternative Energy Conference

DATE: June 11, 2001
CHAIR: David Wanetick, Principal, Black Diamond Advisors
CONFERENCE
LOCATION: One World Trade Center, Suite 4447 (44th floor), New York City

Webcasts: Portions of this event may be webcast; click here a week ahead for details.

Agenda

Registration and Fees

The search for alternative energy sources has never been more important. Electronic gadgets, telecommunications devices, and Internet accessories now account for half of the growth in demand for electricity. Underinvestment in utility plants and energy exploration together with deregulation of the country's electricity have led to surging power costs and rolling blackouts. In fact:

In 2000, the price of electricity in California soared to as much as five times its 1999 level.
US Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham has warned that rolling blackouts in California are inevitable this summer. Others have expressed serious concern that similar blackouts will roll eastward.
The nation's energy problem will not self-correct quickly. OPEC's recently announced oil output reductions will prevent oil prices from falling noticeably. Also, prices of natural gas-the fuel of choice for almost all new power plants under construction as well as for emerging power technologies such as fuel cells-have soared over the last few years. Although the Bush Administration is a strong advocate of energy exploration and new utility plants, these initiatives will take a considerable amount of time to develop.

This conference will provide attendees with an opportunity to listen to senior executives from leading alternative energy companies discuss how they plan to commercialize alternative energy sources such as:

Distributed Power - The production of highly reliable power, which is demanded by hi-tech manufacturers and is produced on-site, rather than sent through the electrical grid.
Fuel Cells - A technological application that holds the potential to power everything from automobiles to utility plants.
Photovoltaics - A semiconductor-based technology that converts light energy directly into an electric current.
Wind Power
This conference is particularly timely because of the high demand for electricity in the summer and other unique challenges confronting the supply of electricity.
