You know, Karen, in Canada when we debate we often take positions we might not normally agree with in order to test them. Just thought you might want to keep that in mind.

this little discussion of ours started when you said religion is private and I agreed with you. interesting to note back in Jan, after his confirmation hearing, Attorney General J. Ashcroft when responding to question afterwords of his environment record replied: " I happen to be a private~environmentalist" ...and it was noticed by some , that if he was truely a private~environmentalist , he had managed to keep it a very closely guarded secret. Private enough , no-one could find any evidence of it in his voting record... * may God's "private" will be done , on earth as it is in heaven.<g>
