I see. You probably already figured out what I was getting at. At least Intel can hide some big ASPs for a while longer in the large Cache chips. With AMD recently getting back into Notebook chips and now 2 way servers, Intel has lost 30% of the price volume share in which to hide large ASPs.
Based the following breakdown from another thread.
Share by $ volume...
Desktop 50%
Notebook 25%
Server 25%
...1 and 2 way-5%
...4 and up way-20%

Still, I have to believe those who buy the large cache Xeons are going to go for Intels jugular (wanting lower prices) when they see the prices of the Athlon MPs and 2 way Intel chips.

Now where is that Muskank with the large cache?
