What are you talking about? Are you sure you not Al Gore? What is with all this give to the rich Bullsh*t. Because of Bush I am going to get $600 back by Sept. It is MY money. Why should I work long hours and bust my hump so the Govt. can take 40% and give it to some social(ist) program. I don't care if the politicians are socialists or Republicans. Well, yes, if we spend even more on "enhancing self-esteem" and other BS do-gooder liberal bullcrap programs, we will. But how about: We shut down HHS. Kill it. At least the HS part. Kill the Dept. of Education. What a waste. Kill National Endowment for the Arts and for Humanities. People are quite willing to pay for art out of their own pockets. Good art. Art auctionhouses and Hollywood prove it every day. There is plenty of other waste that can be shut down. Farm subsidies, for example- -they're a business. Let them sink or swim. With rational government, we can cut taxes even more and still reduce the debt. But liberals can't have their wonderful programs at the same time. But that doesn't really address the original issue: If taxes go up with income, why shouldn't high-income people get a larger dollar reduction when taxes are reduced? Just because you don't like them?
