Comverse Q1 net income soars 40 percent
NEW YORK, June 4 (Reuters) - Israeli telecommunications software maker Comverse Technology Inc. (NasdaqNM:CMVT - news) said Monday its fiscal first-quarter earnings rose 40 percent, boosted by new orders and expanding market share.

The company, which has U.S. offices in Woodbury, New York, said its net income for the quarter ended April 30 rose to $79 million, or 43 cents per share, compared with $56 million, or 32 cents per share, a year earlier. Revenue rose 36 percent to $365.0 million.

lol...actually charlie and i discussed that at one point, but how do you invite everybody and not ernst?..hehe....actually envy all your travelling; wifey gets a respectable 6 weeks of vacation per year but thats not nearly enough in my opinion!..sheesh!
