I didn't expect it to cause you to have revelations, conversions or convulsions I didn't have any of those things. I believe I made the point that I didn't want to make too big a deal over it. I don't think I did. I simply responded to your assertion that "He" was the best word choice given the frailties of human language. I offered several better choices along with my rationale. I also offered a reasonable cultural explanation for the choice that was made. As I said in my first post on the subject, I don't have any heartburn over the choice. What I challenged was your "explaining" that choice with an argument about language, which IMO would have to be either naive or deceptive. Since I know how you feel about lying, I assume naive. Karen
