Hi Jdaasoc; The speed of the memory subsystem can't make up more than a few percent difference to the speed of the overall system due to the efficiency of the cache &c. I would bet that the difference between DDR and RDRAM for the P4 will be considerably below 20%. What the Iwill executives told you just now is only what has been obvious to the industry designers since late 1999. It just takes that long for us to get the designs complete, and until we do, the salesmen continue to sell the old stuff. You should hear what Intel sales reps are saying about Rambus right now. -- Carl
