When I was in Germany I paid around $2 for a fishing license. I missed the part where it was only good on US based pay to fish ponds. One of the cooks said he had permission to fish a place so we took my car and drove out to a nice pond. I'm flinging Mepps Spinners, hear a noise and am looking down the two 12 bores and 30-06 of a drilling held by a game warden with two snarling large dogs. I said that guy over there and realized I was pointing at thin air. The cook had been poaching the pond for a year and since I hadn't caught anything I was let go if I promised I wouldn't give the cook a ride back to the Base. And believe me, I didn't.
