I've been playing on-line chess for a couple of years now. You can chat with your opponent as you play. Having been here for a bit longer I got used to all the sign offs like LOL, <g> etc. For over a year I was confused and disappointed because the Chess Players I have known for the most part have always been very noble good sports. So it bothered me to see that modern chess players would giggle when they won a game as in "gg." Then it dawned on me that they have their own system and gg means good game. My perception of a noble reality has been recovered. Thank God for the dawn.
