I find your question quite disingenuous. Surely you realize that the last Israeli to tolerate PA rule would be a "settler". The settlers that can not tolerate PA rule will surely leave their settlement. There is no other alternative, either live under PA or move out to Israel. All I was trying to point out was that this whole notion that settlements are obstacle to peace is just non-sense. The settlements didn't prevent Barak to propose his ill-fated plan that would dismantle most of them, and Arafat didn't reject Barak's proposal because of the settlements.
