I can't wait to watch Dell attempt to compete with the nForce-based solutions from Compaq, HP, Gateway, etc., this coming Q4 Xmas season.

Cheap DDR. No need to add a graphics card. No need for a sound card. A reasonably-priced, high performance CPU.

Versus what?

Expensive RAMBUS? Underperforming PC133 SDRAM? A more expensive P4 CPU? An underperforming P3 CPU? Have to add that AGP card... don't forget the soundblaster live card.

Dell's costs will run at least $200 higher.
