Windy,
RE:"Comparing an unknown P III system with budget video -- no video card -- "and a high-end AthWipe."

That Athwiper is running on an integrated chipset, audio and video and I think modem....
you need to catch up on the reading.

Windsock
since when "high-end AthWipe" graduated to compete against pIII? We'll be lucky to get close to mid-range celeron <ggg>'
Next you would want us to compare AthWipe to p4 or something like that.....
Unreasonable........
BTW is AthWipe somehow related to athlon?
Regards
-Albert

Windsock,

RE:"Comparing an unknown P III system with budget video -- no video card -- and a high-end AthWipe"

Scroll on down until you see this....
penstarsys.com
"Yet another benchmark result in which the nForce combined with the 1.2 GHz Athlon beats the stuffing out of the high end."

Then realize this is an 1.2 GHZ Athlon with an INTEGRATED chipset crushing a Peentium4 @ 1.5 Ghz...

Then you might like to go to the next page and read the conclusion.
"Conclusion

NVIDIA is going to take over the world. So far reports on this chipset have been very positive in real world settings, and the overwhelming specs that NVIDIA included in this product are mind-boggling! This product is literally 2 years ahead of its time, and NVIDIA was able to complete it in slightly over a year. This is not bad for a company with no prior experience in the core logic market"

Can you imagine a PC magazine review of an AMD system with
nforce vs some Dell with an i815e or even a P4?
Will they will still give Dell, "Editors" er advertisers choice. <G>
