Hi Lazarre,

Yes, I still have a position in TXCC and have traded the stock as well over the past 2 months. Hard to gauge where the stock will head from here short term, back to 17 or down to 10. Neither would surprise me at all. I don't really expect a lot out of TXCC for a few more months, mostly because I think the market is going to have a tough go of it until August or September. I suspect that will be the time to start considering serious long side positions. By then the industry should have hit rock bottom and have no where to go but up (but I'll continue to let the numbers lead me in the right direction).

I'm in the camp that believes we don't see appreciable changes in the economy (statistically speaking) for 6 to 9 months after a rate cut. By August or September, the economy should start showing signs (from the first few cuts) that the future holds some promise and there's light at the end of the tunnel. Likewise, September is 18 months since the Nasdaq top and by then the bear cycle should be nearing it's completion or at least approaching it.

Of course things can change over the next few months that could alter my outlook, but for now I'm still sitting with the bulk of my technology investment capital in money markets, waiting for better buying opportunities. I think it's going to be very rough for most of the communications based semi stocks for at least another quarter or 2 but I won't mind being wrong with this prediction!
