LOS ANGELES (AP) Martin Scorsese's list of top 10 films to view in widescreen format, along with names of the directors and year of release. The list includes only films in which the image is at least 2.21 times wider than it is tall.
"2001: A Space Odyssey," Stanley Kubrick, 1968.

"Bladerunner," Ridley Scott, 1982.

"Ben-Hur," William Wyler, 1959.

"East of Eden," Elia Kazan, 1955.

"High and Low," Akira Kurosawa, 1963.

"Lawrence of Arabia," David Lean, 1962.

"Lola Montes," Max Ophuls, 1955.

"Once Upon a Time in the West," Sergio Leone, 1968.

"Some Came Running," Vincente Minnelli, 1959.

"Zulu," Cy Endfield, 1964.
