Pretty funny flap!

I suppose based on most of the BS flying out of the Demolib party, that's about as deep as you can go in the proof realm.

Ok flap, allow me to broaden my level of proof requirement and give you some wiggle room here.

I'll accept a credible mainstream journalist writing about the incident. After all, I'm sure if Rush did do it, one of the rabid left wing journalists would have picked up on it, so it shouldn't be too tough for you to find.

You see, one of the main reasons I believe the claim is untrue, is because I'm an information junkie, and I believe I would have read something about it from one of the rabid left wing reporters like Michael Kinsley. After all, they all despise Rush, so they would undoubtedly be talking about it ad-naseum if it were true.

Of course, there is the slight chance I am wrong, since I didn't watch all of Rush Limbaugh television shows, so fire away.

No reason to thank me for my magnamosity. (gee, I wonder if that's a word) :)

flap....that was really NOT PC, nor adult, of you...!!! See: Propaganda....where are YOUR facts and principles???? You seem to try to bash people at will, and yet feign surprise if people want to know your EXACT source...

Propaganda.....

carmen.artsci.washington.edu

As generally understood, propaganda is opinion expressed for the purpose of influencing actions of individuals or groups... Propaganda thus differs fundamentally from scientific analysis. The propagandist tries to "put something across," good or bad. The scientist does not try to put anything across; he devotes his life to the discovery of new facts and principles. The propagandist seldom wants careful scrutiny and criticism; his object is to bring about a specific action. The scientist, on the other hand, is always prepared for and wants the most careful scrutiny and criticism of his facts and ideas.

Science flourishes on criticism. Dangerous propaganda crumbles before it.

Alfred McLung Lee & Elizabeth Bryant Lee, The Fine Art of Propaganda, 1939.

Here's a definition provided by Qualter:

Propaganda is ... the deliberate attempt by some individual or group to form, control, or alter the attitudes of other groups by the use of instruments of communication, with the intention that in any given situation the reaction of those so influenced will be that desired by the propagandist.

I'm glad to hear Rush apologized but it's his decision to make. If he did great, if not that's OK too. Its not up to me to decide what is correct for Rush. He is a showman after all. And its not really an important issue. There's no law against being a jerk on occasion, otherwise the jails would be full. Personally, I'd still like to hear an apology for the last eight years of unprecedented lawlessness in the WH and the damage to our Republic. But I don't bet on it. JLA
