Well, I wouldn't say there isn't enough gasoline. Just not enough of the "right" kind of gasoline, reformulated. Im surprised there aren't more EPA waiver requests by now...

Cyberken, I see that, like the president, you are trying to link oil drilling in the Alaskan wildlife refuge with the electrical shortage in California. There is no link between them whatsoever. Less than 1% of electrical production for California comes from oil. The problem in California is manipulation by those like Enron, who were big contributors to puppet Dubya. There is also no shortage of crude or gasoline right now. Get your facts straight.

Despite being misinformed by those who bought them, Cheney/Bush have it wrong. Conservation and renewables ARE the answer. BTW, has anybody else noticed that Cheney has been pulled out of the spotlight despite the fact that he is the one really running the show?
