I guess Dennis you would favor power plants and power lines being built as long as the were say in Nevada or Oregon - where you didn't have to see them, but where you could benefit from the power they generate. A typical NIMBY argument. Lets see, maybe you can move to a place where they can just beam the electricity you want to use to you - so you have none of the supposed negatives - and yet gain all of the benefits. Yea, thats the ticket. Too bad that utopia doesn't exist. If you want to use the power, you need to share in the infrastrucre possibly intruding on your life in some small fashion. I don't think thats much to ask. And if you disagree - then perhaps you should go live off the grid like some folks do in Alaska.
