Gus, I don't respect your decision not to get hooked on phonics. If you know of a better way to drop a bomb right amidst an Israeli target AND save one's ass at the same time --that is, sorta bomb-and-run tactics-- then don't hesitate to email the modus operandi to Hamas... If you think children at a dance club are legitimate targets you should assume another name to post under on SI lest you become a target for someone. How mighty big of you to come to that conclusion. These people have proven they are not morally advanced enough to carry sling shots, however they are technically advanced enough to build bombs. Contrariwise, were the Jews deprived of their high-tech paraphernalia, I bet you there're enough fanatic rabbis out there who'd call for JEWISH suicide bombers against those "Satanic Arabs"... I can't comment because it has never happened. So your point is? They lost all sympathy for their cause in the latest bombing episode and have made new enemies. Arafat should be made defunct immediately and the Palestinian people re-located.

Gustave.. it's not the means that bother me so much, but the targets. Even the Jews, with few exceptions, primarily targeted the British military and not civilian targets, during their guerilla war prior to 1948. But these Palestinian extremists have been deliberately targeting unarmed civilians with these bombings, being too cowardly to take on the Israeli military. Their intended victims have no means of fighting back. This makes it an act of murder, not war. And that's the general difference between an act of terror and an act of violence against an occupying power. Hawk
