Well, she bounced at the close over 13K. Now we have heard a great deal about the new US bull market and I have to ask then are there any other countries having a "bull market" now? Hmmmm. If not, then perhaps this is a country specific thing <g>? Thank you, Mr. Greenspan.

I don't believe the nikkei really sliced though 13,000. It help above the level and bounced later in the session.
Sure you can have a bull market start in one country which leads to the same in others. Most people are still waiting for confirmation of a new bull market --- many think it is just a bear market rally.
Expectations of the economy is what is going to lead this; things improve for US---leads to Europe and Asia getting better. The Japanese problems are well known any success in cleaning up the mess should also help their markets sooner or later; might be one of the best buying opportunities soon.
It is the US economy that is key right now and is probably going to be the leading indicator for the world economy. A market that is gaining will probably spark capital expenditures by corporations (on technology). That is also part of the Greenspan plan.
