flats, funny how logic is so situational with most folks ;-) i get irritated when the elite camel jockies get on tv and say 10% of the folks pay 60% of the taxes and how UNFAIR that is. i'm waiting for somebody to ask how much of america that 10% own. about 60%, you say? hmmmmmmm... seems pretty darn fair to me! ;-) and yes, my ethics and morals are as constant as i can make them. i do pretty well now. i pay a lot of taxes now. i plan on doing even better in the future - especially if i can get my software company off the ground. as i do better, i expect to contribute a higher % of my income so those folks in poverty don't have food taken off their table to facilitate an extra "0" on my brokerage account. no, i'm not big govt. no, i'm not liberal. no, i'm not here to facilitate the simple minded's ability to grasp what i am. ;-) btw, i'm not talking about a gradual means testing of ss. i'm talking wholesale change and a HUGE reduction is rates. it won't happen, but i can dream. ;-)
