Raises price target to $90 (from $70) and reiterates Strong Buy rating.

10:46 ET Aremissoft (AREM) halted: -- Update -- Company issues press release that claims this morning's NY Times article "inaccurately characterized aspects of the Company's business"; AREM stands by its employee count in India, and says that the Times misread a press release regarding contracts with the Indian army -- AREM confirms that the contracts have a value of $500,000 and that any additional revenues from the Indian army are not guaranteed.

11:53 ET Amazon.com (AMZN) 16.29 -0.62 (-3.7%): -- Update -- Merrill Lynch's Henry Blodget comments on AMZN Analyst Day. Company reiterating confidence in Q4 operating profit; Blodget says not new news but good to hear. Management also expressing confidence in full yr 2002 operating profit; Blodget's model already reflects this, but analyst believes this is the first time management has stated this objective publicly.
