Karen, I would personally vote for an atheist, if I thought her the best person for the office. I think you know that. But I am not going to blame people for preferring to see their values and perspectives reflected in their representatives. That is what democracy is about.

I think the hospital is unduly insensitive. Too many people exceed 6'5" to excuse it......

Sure, it would be nice for the hosptial to have multiple sizes of gowns. The 4"8" person probably also has a problem with the gowns, but in their case tripping over them.

But if I were 6'9" and knew this was a problem, next time I went to the hospital I would probably take along my own bathrobe. Wouldn't serve for an emergency, of course, but what responsibility do people have to solve problems they can solve quite simply on their own rather than complaing about how badly they're treated?
