SOX now above 50 and 100 day EMA (638). COMPX above 50 day EMA, yet to clear 100 day EMA at 2273. Clearing 100 day EMA on SOX should bring sustained buying in. The indecisive nature of yesterdays trading broke to the up side. COMPX should have an upside bias till INTC forward guidance Thursday.
Supercomm have minimial effect as anticipated. Most traders know business is bad. Short of contract announcements, new product new should not move stocks.

The Nasdaq Also Rises

The Nasdaq is still well up, but off it's highs set this morning, while the DJIA is now near flatline, a mix of poor economic data and strength in its tech components balancing one another out. Optimistic traders seem to be trusting Greenspan's statements yesterday that inflation is not his foremost concern. Analysts expect some traders sitting on the sidelines to hold out for Intel's earning's announcement on Thursday after the bell, so we could see some low volume sessions today and tomorrow.
