You vastly underestimate the power of ennui.

If you feel insulted by meaningless and unenforceable language, so be it. But don't look for me to cry for you. There are too many real victims in this world to cry for.

If you have the time and energy to take on a crusade, I can suggest a lot more productive ones than complaining about archaic and unenforceable language in our statute books.
