Exactly. So there are many people at Cisco and other tech companies who feel like they have continued to kick ass in their limited roles. Yet they are being punished due to the stocks downturn. So many of these people may decide to move to different companies or maybe even different industries to realize their full compensation potential in light of the stock market not making up the difference on top of their salary compensation. So this is the beauty of a free market. Resources migrate to where they will be best used. If Cisco doesn't do something to keep those employees, then they will be worse off for it in the long run.
