You know, I think some people actually have a fetish for garage sales and flea markets. Finding a gem for pennies really makes their day. That would be my sister!!! LOL

Like someone at a flea market will see his Mercedes. Now a garage sale, that is a different story. I don't think they would jack the price up because of his car, but he might have been embarrassed to be slumming... I met a girl that my kids grew up with around the corner at a garage sale... We both now live in Atlanta, but we didn't know about the other one. How is that for a small world? I wouldn't have recognized her, it had been 15 years! I don't know what this has to do with garage sales, other than you do meet interesting people.
