Typical distortion...

What Bush mocked during the campaign was not hybrid
cars themselves, but rather the fact that Gore did not
favor any across-the-board tax relief, thus the
only way to get tax relief under Gore would be to qualify
for certain specialized tax credits (e.g., hybrid cars).

Admittedly, this is a subtle distinction that the liberal mind
has difficulty grasping...
