I'm not surprised. I wouldn't admit to listening to Rush anymore either, but I'd bet that you were one of his parrot ditto-heads in the past, because you still think like him.

If you would have read my post correctly you would have seen that I said that the projections made in the past were made on available data on known reserves, and were correct for the time. Neither you or anybody else could know what future reserves would be. As it turned out, there was far more than what was projected. It does not follow that we will always find enough oil as long as there is exploration money available, as there certainly is a finite supply. Why do you wrong wingers think that it is somehow it is your birthright to use as much as you want to satisfy your self-indulgent lifestyles, while leaving the wells dry for future generations? Do your grandchildren a favor and save your posts for them to read 50 years from now. It is up to you to explain to them why you didn't want to use our resources wisely and why CO2 levels are so high.
