One is left to wonder why plainly defamatory posts on "serious" stock threads are left untouched

I asked and the answer I received was that they were responses to attacks which, I suppose, justifies their existence and suspends the TOU - nevermind the "responses" continued for several days after the attackers were suspended. If I see so much as one peep now on those serious threads w/o so much as a warning (as we've been warned here), I will protest.

I guess it depends on the people involved. There are constant very nasty personal attacks on the GWB thread for example.
