(CA), the world's leading provider of eBusiness management solutions, today announced a series of initiatives with BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: BEAS chart, msgs), one of the world's leading eBusiness infrastructure software companies, to help address one of the most serious needs of eBusinesses: management of the web infrastructure. As part of these efforts, CA has developed a new solution, Unicenter Management for BEA WebLogic Server, to provide management for the BEA WebLogic eBusiness Platform. The new CA solution is designed to help IT administrators manage application service levels while decreasing operational overhead. It ensures performance and availability of Enterprise JavaBean (EJB(TM)) components and Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE(TM)) compliant application servers such as BEA WebLogic Server.
