But isn't "anticipating" a problem in itself if you act on it? yep...but, still the best way to maximize gains....yes, the drawback is...you must be correct...I make mistakes all the time<g> It's a matter of what type of risk one is willing to take at any given moment. I think I managed the mistakes pretty well considering I am always looking for confirmation....my biggest handicap was the mindset I had made for events....there is a rule for traders....observe the trend and go with it...then you are only wrong once...at the top and the bottom....well? Harder to achieve than say....having a plan for the week or day is important....having a correct plan is even more important, some us rely on our own thoughts and experience to get us through the day...some days we're not at our best....today I wasn't at my best no matter how hard I tried. JMO, I know I'm different from some traders...
