I don't express absolute agreement with the author of a web site merely by posting the link. That is why I leave the URL.

Of course, I am usually posting web information for which I have a general sympathy, but as to particulars or specifics, well, again--unless I am the author of the piece--I do not feel obligated to defend those particulars.

I have looked at your objections, and cannot express full agreement with them. Obviouly, discrimination against the secular can admit of more subtle evidence than say(for instance) shutting down a business.

I am sure that secular people in many States feel nervous and pressured by the religious element. Otherwise, it is difficult to explain the groups they form, and the things they say. The various atheist associations, for instance, were formed to reduce the threat felt by individuals, and to empower them in preserving their freedom from religious dominance. Religious DOMINANCE and SUBJUGATION has been a feature which has characterized most societies since man first learned that the High Priest could eat from a trough instead of a plate.

Exploitation, whether it is real or potential--is worth opposing. There are people who simply dismiss the concerns of such people in a high handed fashion. I don't consider dismissing the expressed concerns of others to be either intelligent or practical. The fact that you read the link and had a mixed response to it, tells me that you also recognize that people should not need to be religious to have their voices count in society. There is no doubt in my mind, that the voices of the secular receive less sincere attention than do the concerns of dominant religions. This is obvious to most people but not to all.
