Right you are!

Seems that AMD paid all that extra money for copper and it didn't even get them a process that could keep up with Intel's 0.18 micron/Aluminum process.

And like you say - AMD's big head start in copper has resulted in them being at least 6 months BEHIND Intel in copper at the 0.13 micron level.

3-6 months behind the start, but at least 3-6 months ahead of the finish. That seems pretty common does it not? We didn't have .18 before Intel, but we were done with our conversion way before they were. (unless my memory serves me incorrectly which is always possible).
