Well you did say you preferred the monetarist view of the crash and what would fix it, did you not?

The questions I posed were fairly simple ones. Not asking you to decide if you think the Austrians are correct about their world-view, but whether the principle of savings being linked to investment makes sense to you in a larger context - and whether a disconnect between the two (savings and investment) can cause problems in the market signals that ultimately allocate capital between consumption and production?

Is the Austrian view on this matter too simplistic?

What, if any objection, do you have to that basic idea?
