Re: My point was that this quarter is the wrong quarter to look for communications profits. Actually, this past quarter was the first to show the benefits of Intel extending its comm business model (expend $4.50 in costs for every $3.00 in revenue) to the CPU "Intel Architecture" group. The transition of the IAG to the comm unit's business model is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Beginning next quarter.... Intel won't need to pay any taxes! Ever again! :-)
