Thanks Harvey. My speed already varies wildly from a low
(using aol browser) of 300 to some straight download speed measures from San Antonio of over 3000. Just measured using aol browser...300. Closing aol and using my outboard browser a minute later 778...lol....AOL is slow even on broadband. A Comcast tech claims they are aiming for a consistent down speed well over 1500, but I find that tough to believe for the price they will be charging. In any case, they are not there yet. Not feeling too picky though....I do enjoy the speed. Very pleasant. DSL not available on my block yet. And wireless blocked by trees and some tall buildings.
