<Fed Funds rate is bumping up against zero>

Hmmmm, rates approaching zero, massive liquidity influx, equity markets unable to find a "ral" footing....sounds familiar.....

Got Godzrilla??

<Broaddus said one of the big risks to the economy lies in the beleaguered U.S. manufacturing sector.

The Richmond Fed chief said there was a wider recognition of the extent of the weakness in the
manufacturing sector and its potential impact on other sectors of the economy.>

Sad thing is, that sooo many jobs, I mean "layoffs", will NEVER come back....I don't have the exact numbers but many, many jobs were announced as being gone for good....overseas, Mexico, and plants just plain closing down, NAFTA is a joke, and we are giving away our jobs to other countries......

Everytime manufacturing takes a hit like this, the rebound is a little bit less each time......

Oh my GOD! You have to be on *crack* or something to read this stuff. Does this twist anyone else's cerebrum into knots, or just mine?!?

Broaddus also said there was ``relatively little risk at present of a resurgence of either inflation or inflation expectations.'' However, he noted the increase in consumer prices as well as an increase in inflation expectations according to Treasury bond rates

Wouldn't a fundamental sign of "inflation" BE rising consumer prices?!?!? Wouldn't the best gauge of "inflation expectations" BE T-bond rates?!?!? WTF?!?

Oh, my aching brain...

I think too much to trade stocks. I give up. <ng>
