Andreas posted some 3DMark benchmarks for Intel's new i845 chipset over on the AMD thread.

1.5GHZ P4 = 427
1.0GHZ A4 = 578

Normalized for clock speed (by no means a perfect approximation, but as a rough estimate) 578 x 1.5 = 867. More than twice as fast per clock than P4.

Makes for a nice rule of thumb: To compare A4 to P4, just divide the clock speed of the P4 by 2
