Chris. That's a sound concept and one I use.

Although I'm out of the sub-sector since Jan/Feb, most of my work in 1999-2000 was in sm cap NG E&Ps.

However, a full position in one of those sm caps was generally 1/2 to 2/3 of the $ amount I'd place in a core Intermediate or Long Term large cap, like RTN for example.
