C'mon, be fair, Laura Tyson, former Chief Economic Advisor to Clinton, claimed last week that the way to deal with shortages was to cap prices. That's how we wound up arguing the minimum wage with Flats.

The little graphic we learned in economics, with price on the y axis, and quantity on the x axis, and the two lines, one for demand and the other for price, that reach equilibrium where they cross?

People like Tyson and Flats were taught a different graphic when they went to college - not sure what it is, keep hoping Flats will post it but she prefers to talk about how mean we are and how she can make us look bad to voters for not being compassionate.

Anyway, voters aren't taught supply and demand, they're taught mean vs. compassionate.
