dELiAs Q1 loss narrows, sees profitable second half NEW YORK, June 6 (Reuters) - Teen-oriented Internet and catalog retailer dELiAs Corp. (NasdaqNM:DLIA - news) on Wednesday said its first-quarter loss narrowed as it worked to refocus on its core business and posted positive sales at stores open at least a year. On a consolidated basis, the New York-based company said its net loss in the first quarter was $8.3 million, or 23 cents a share, compared with a loss of $8.7 million, or 35 cents per merger-adjusted share, in the same period last year.
