re Can it still happen with HDI?(Huge profits as a shareholder) I doubt it
From "Guide to the Markets" that IBD just sent me.
Other portfolios that would have done wonders, as HDI.

$70,000 to $1,286,000 in 15 years.
$10,000 invested in:
Colgate Palmolive
JnJ
Procter &Gamble
Helene Curtis
Gillette
Newell and
Helen of Troy

or $50,000 invested in:(grew to $1,105,000)

($10,000 in each)
Nautica
V.F.Corp
Russell
Liz Claiborne and
Nike

Or $30,000 invested in: (grew to $1.126,000)

($10,000 each)
Mattel
Hasbro and
Disney

So all we on this board who DONT want to trade have to do is help each other find the next one two or three.
Yes?

Most of these stats come from 1987....the "low" I guess...so we have to invest at the "low" too which may come this fall some time.
Let's get studying and figure out what we can buy and hold and go study bellydancing or write a novel or hike the mountains and stop looking at this damn market!
