Is this the reason for battery drain problems? Also, it's interesting that NTT has declined to report average speeds.. I saw a statement by a user that I-Mode seemed fast compared to the standard 9kbs service - which really doesn't say much... I wonder if max speeds approach even 64kbs?? I'll wager that if speeds were good, we'd damn sure hear about it. <g>.
