Re: IPIC

I have been trading it short off and on for the last few days. Shorted a small lot at the close yesterday but couldn't find shares to borrow this morning before the open at IB. When i saw the volume and realized i didn't have any ammo to reshort i exited before they took it over 7. FWIW i think its a pure squeeze play so i would look for a spot to get in here if i could find shares.

IB also didn't have CWON or CECO, another foolishly valued POS I have had in my crosshairs.

Oh well, there's plenty of crud rising to the surface lately.

Xaver17 - IPIC - Oh Myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

IPIC is a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the development and commercialization of a portfolio of products primarily for neurological and behavioral diseases. For the six months ended 3/31/01, revenues decreased 97% to $645 thousand. Net loss totaled $3.7 million vs. an income of $17.1 million. Revenues reflect the absence of license fees from Pfizer and Takeda. Net loss also reflects increased S/G/A expenses as a percentage of revenues.

Cap is 379 million (what a price to sales ratio wow)
cash is .88/share

bunch of 144s were filed in may.
on dec 28 i insider sold 3.6 million shares at 1.11 (I guess he didnt like the future outlook:-)

Looking at the 2 year weekly chart, sitting right at the double to of 9.
even looks like a very nice cup has been formed.
now for the handle or even further breakdown.

Fundamentally I have a hard time justifying $3.

I will probably short any gap up in the morning
