Some positives -- Our revenue and EPS suck, but hey our expenditures are running ahead of schedule.

John, re Joseph's words from Briefing, I like the fact that he has multiple messages in there, including about capex. Gives me the feeling he's actually talked to someone vs. just saying "they're not going to make it." Find out mañana. - Tony

12:02 ET Intel (INTC) 29.72 -0.01: -- Update -- Hearing that Salomon Smith Barney semi analyst Jon Joseph made positive comments on Intel; said he is maintaining his estimates at $6.35 bln revenues and $0.13 EPS for the June qtr; also believes company will maintain $7.5 bln capex guidance - actually believes they are trending above this pace now and will have to work down to the $7.5 bln figure.
