Vince, great news on the 1.4 MP! Here's the text from the listing: - * ETA late June Athlon MP Palomino 1.4Ghz (Socket A) with 1 year AMD warranty (CPU only)266FSB Estimated price now $299. And no, they aren't confusing it with the 1.4 Tbird just out, since their 'part #' also fits the MP pattern: AMDAHX1400-1 (compare to AMDAHX1200-1 and AMDAHX1000-1 for the 1.0/1.2 MPs vs. AMDAO14000-1266 for the 1.4 Tbird) Late June. Not bad. Not bad at all. That will crush dual 2.0GHz P4 Xeons, in the same way the 1.2's beat up the 1.7 P4's. (1.4 is 16.6% higher freq than 1.2, 2.0 is 17.6% higher freq than 1.7, and the A4 MP performance scales better with MHz than the P4's performance.) Doug
