cb, how would you develop a market if not by giving them resources that ultimately cost money? why are mexicans more deserving of american support than working americans?

i'd argue that the low wage folks would be more apt to spend the dough than the owners who typically (not always) make more dough. more demand = more stuff sold = bigger market.

cb, nope, i ran 1/5 of the PCBA operations of a multi-billion dollar company.

yes, my teams had a higher output to labor dollar than foreigners making less than 1/10 the wages (this is a fact as we had contract mfrs making the EXACT same PCBA and we did it less expensively as a company and my shifts produced at 15% less labor cost/unit than the avg of the company).

just b/c you don't comprehend how this could be true doesn't make it false.

your ad hominem is a bit weak ;-)

remember, cost AND benefit. life isn't just cost. one needs to evaluate marginal cost AND marginal benefit. i know this is now getting complex...

but, you were never one to let reality influence your world view. ;-)
